COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Too often, teen substance abuse hides in a cloud of misinformation and anxiety. While there are a multitude of factors that are known to lead teens to experiment with drugs, the addiction dynamic is less well understood. When we as parents empower ourselves with real knowledge on the subject, we are better able to safeguard our kids from the dangers of addiction.
Please join Nachshon Zohari, LCSW for a four-week series designed to empower parents searching for ways to keep their kids safe and drug-free. Nachshon is the Program Administrator for Substance Abuse Treatment for the Denver Department of Human Services. He has over twelve years of direct clinical experience in the field of substance abuse and mental health treatment.
Each class runs for 90 minutes, including question and answer session. The cost for the series is $40.00 for each participant. There must be a minimum of 10 registered participants in order to schedule the course.
